#10 Unexpected (Rough cut Diabolo session)
We have a daily challenge on diabolo europe. Today's theme was "unexpected". Let the camera roll while brainstorming, here's a small edit of it. Some very old stuff, tricks I found on the spot, unpolished ideas and everything in between. Not all of it fits the theme but I believe a fair amount does. Hope you'll enjoy it

Wanted to do something with all the unused clips I've recorded over the years. I'll be uploading other stuff in different formats in the upcoming months (slower than I thought, but hopefully...). Far from what you imagined, but it's a start I guess... As a side note, all the wraps are external ones. Not sure if it's the way to go for the visual effect, but I find it easier to land with an external wrap than to start with an internal one. Also, threw in the trick Wis was talking about as a bonus.

Found this old practice session on my hardrive. Was quite fun watching this 2 years later and realise I completly forgot I even worked on this stuff. It was almost like watching someone else's video. Which is ironic because the reason I do theses videos in the first place, is to keep track of some tricks and ideas so I'll remember to work on them later... Yet an other training session. This one is actually quite old, I filmed it in June'08 and never released it officialy because of the bad setting. Comme Vincent, j’en ai bouffé de la merde dans cet appartement ! Il me manque parfois, comme nos sessions freestyle, même si mes figures étaient un peu plus stylées.

Ok, I think I'm not exaggerating if one counts new concepts and smart use of known concepts. There are at least a few things that are genuinely new directions
And I have new favorite diabolo video! I am trying not to exaggerate, but I don't know if I am managing or not.
